Even worse, they want automation robotics taking over our jobs more and more and try to spin it in a positive light. Sorry, most of it needs human decision.

Your job is to become an expert whose highly dependable on the narrow set of projects or responsibilities you've been given. Nothing more, nothing less. Having grand big ideas especially when its outside your scope of responsibilities will not get you promoted or respected. Stay in your lane, get your bread, and apply for other roles if you're bored.
