Thread regarding Pioneer Natural Resources Co. layoffs

Bonuses

Any murmurings on bonuses this year? I know last year we had a 1.7x multiplier on our target bonus. I would think it would be the same or better this year with how much FCF we produced.

I’m hoping for any amount of bonus. I bought my second Raptor last week. Cannot afford gas and been siphoning it from the executives vehicles in the garage. Problem is they are hopping onboard the green bandwagon and buying electrics. I’ll be left soon with two boat anchors. Stinks I sold my boat last downturn.

Took the original VSP, invested some back in PXD when stock was around $50 per share. Bonus pay is really just deffered salary and usually taxed at a higher rate. Current company understands this and even though our bonus pay is not that of PXD, our salaries are about 15% more. PNR is a good company, but agree, MC is loading their Brinks truck!

I think the bonus for May is for the field employees only. The bonus for non exempt employees is usually the first week of March. However, an email was sent out last year from SS in mid January about the board approving one of the largest bonuses in the last 10 years. I haven’t seen an email at all this January.

They sent the bonus payout dates last year in an email. Next one is in May

I was told that the bonus payout will be a different week from our market merit. No communication has gone out about this. Seems shady.

Bonuses? You run the business into the ground, and you want bonuses?

The new guard’s plan on full display. Enrich themselves at the expense of all else. Bonuses, raises, promotions, well performance and safety. It’s not driving share value. It’s driving division.

I’m more upset about only getting a 6% cost of living increase. I don’t know anyone that got less than 10% and that was my barber.

Variable dividend distributions will drive bonus below target.

Lots will be pod and leave if it’s anything less than the biggest payout historically.
