I heard a few spotty issues happening from yesterday, but did the BU systematically start the execution proceedings or it still did not start yet?
It seems there will be a 200+ HC reduction in GSEM alone post VSP. So, it will be massive 25% HC loss.
Anyone got any definite info?

I was part of the GSEM that just left. I was told the second part would not be until after we left. Rumor had it on Friday that this coming week was the start of involuntary. I had heard similar numbers as some have quoted of the amount that still had to go. I don’t however have any first hand info on the upcoming only that I was a part of the first wave.
I heard managers in GSEM were trained this week to read out the script next week
My group is getting the axe on 1/18 - came direct from my manager.
GSEM management announced the total HC reduction target to be 20%.
They confirmed voluntary CPM applications achieved one-third of that total target. The remaining two-thirds will be involuntary, which makes up around 13% of layoffs.
Still a high %, but not as high as 25%. Not GSEM, but MSO announced a 25% target, which might have caused some confusion.
One source said Jan 13th, whereas the other said Jan 18th for notifications. Nobody knows for sure.

I'm also in GSEM/MSO. It has to be tomorrow for involuntary, right? The VSPs in my area all have their last day tomorrow, plus the long weekend due to it being a holiday on Monday, plus Friday the 13th...
