I noticed a post today about Springtown which has been removed twice , why was this ? I think the post is only pointing out that Operators there are unhappy about their pay rate & conditions.. Looks like they want a Union in to fight for them & it looks like this site doesn't care much for Operators....

His other half jumped ship from the company ,maybe because she did it because of the sh-t storm that will happen when the union is in..
Springtown will be unionised, its a matter of when not if. Employment law in UK means once a 50%+1 in favour is reached then the company must recognise or will be forced to via a labour court. Would love to be a fly on the wall when Fergus has to explain how it came to this.
We've already been informed by management in Seagate Springtown that there will be no pay rise or profit share this year.Hows that for respect?? I'm confident that those at the top of the Derry plant will get their bonuses and pay rises.It say something for a company when the local government councillors have to get involved about the poor treatment of derry operators.
Management in Seagate Londonderry do not care about operators.They never have and they never will.Lower paid than a lot of other work places .If Management don't respect the workers then they can't expect worker to respect the company and its products.Respect is a two way street but Management don't want to see it that way.

Aye, we Springtown people need to be thankful Seagate is still here. The pubs have financial limits on the number of servers they need.
Unsure if any Seagate Plants are unionised as most U.S. companies don't regonise them.. I think it is a sad times for Seagate / McDonald's pay rate is now higher than Springtown Operators which is a joke.. A Big Company making Millions and paying Operators minimum wage.. Disgraceful
Is it looking like the Springtown workforce will be unionized? Are there any other factories unionized in Seagate?
