I am trying to calm my anxiety by looking for new opportunities but so far I have not received any acceptable offers. Regardless of the fact that many people say that high productivity and hard work do not result in any more job security, I would still like to be more productive.
I'm really afraid of losing my job. However, how to focus on work in this kind of atmosphere?

I changed jobs several months ago and it has caused more anxiety and stress than I expected. I say that so you don’t think changing jobs will be the cure. It might, but I was not as prepared for the change as I thought I was. I blame the pandemic and they poor leaders I had. Had some great leaders, but the bad ones did their damage.
Anyways… while any of you are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, etc I recommend utilizing life works. It’s free and may help you manage through this stress.

Don’t be so quick to blame it on Boomers. Most of them are gone due to the pension payouts.
So everyone thinks this company is so inept at figuring out the future but yet they came up with an elaborate plan to sc--w the front line employee.
These narratives are all one sided and clueless.

It is all by design. These sick demented f***s want you to feel anxiety and fear and not be able to do the work. This is so you either feel hopeess and give up and quit on your own so you are one less person to pay severance to or have to rebadge to the vendor. Or you start to "fail" so much in your job that they can put you on performance write up and fire you for cause. There is also the make you so sick mentally with their intimidation and abuse that you call in and they can occurrence you off the payroll for attendance. All of these are acceptable options to these sick twisted leaders and suits running this company. They will find any way to bully you into quitting n your own or forcing you into unacceptable work so they can fire you for performance. All in the Transformative Growth plans.

This process has been dragging on and on for years, covid put the brakes on this "transformation" otherwise most of us would already be gone. Ineptitude and poor planning solidified what we knew about Allstate and the debacle that is falling on top of the remaining employee's. The treatment and abuse should qualify us for medical leave. Stay strong it always gets worse before it gets better.
Allstate leadership thrives on exploitation, bullying, mental abuse, and cyberstalking on the Teams. They are purposely letting this layoff thing drag out to milk work out of us. Time for some quiet quitting.
