When I subscribed told them that I didn't watch 98% of the programming, like BET, QVC, Religious, Cartoons, MSNBC begged for a package determined by me.
Nope, I was told that I get em all. So daily after work I'd scroll thru the assortment that I was paying for that I wasn't getting. I'd call DTV every day and demand a refund for those same channels. Watched DVT for 7 years free except for the receiver and taxes.
Wait. I thought the new DTV was the future. At least that’s the BS those that jumped ship were spouting
Typical a**ho-e behavior from AT&T employees. So glad to be out of that toxic hellhole where mediocrity continues to be rewarded. DTV had smart, capable ppl
that came with it. AT&T polishes turds for a living. Satellite will continue to decline, but trying to act like AT&T is some shining beacon and that what they did to DTV with the acquisition is somehow better than what the overpay did to AT&T is yet another galaxy beain take from AT&T legacy id--ts. Have fun with unemployment!
Priced themselves out of business.
They don't know the meaning of "contracted price".
I've called in to cancel, then they sent me to loyalty - agree on a price $47.00- then the billing arrives and it's $129.99. I've called in to billing - nothing they can do. Called into corporate - and their "executive" tells me they don't have that price for that level of service. Id--t recommends that I buy same programming that I can get with OTA Tv.
I tell that mo--n to go listen to the recording that they have "for quality assurance".
Interesting that he cannot find that conversation & informs me that the price is $129.99
& I inform him that I'll pay the agreed upon price - but I had called in previously to cancel and their loyalty & I agreed on a price. Then he's going to do me a favor and offers like $99.99 - NO....Turn it off!
DTV needs to just go out of business. Liars, cheats, thieves, crooks.
Who cares? Put it on the Directv layoffs thread instead.
Same result for AT&Ts coal fired home furnace business…..
DTV should be dead long time ago. Who cares about this relic.
Just go out of business. File today. File now. Just file.
The hatchet man is their CEO of course there will be layoffs.
Biggest "no sheet" post I have seen on this board. In other news, water is wet and the sky is blue.
