so everyone should go back into the stinky dirty office. Not happening for me!

the repo for central banks collapsed in 2019 a few months before covid appeared The only way to keep the current system going is by injecting money into the dollar ponzy scheme. Stay tuned (they) Davos and Bill gates are already warning us about a possible new virus (that they might release) This is not over, even Ukrane's war is all a circus behind the scenes to keep us entertained while they work on the next phase
I went into the office knowing I had Covid a few weeks back. I used all my vacation time. I don’t get sick days and I have to go to an office twice a week to collaborate. All Company rules and policies. Not mine. Oh well.
I work in a call center sitting next unvaccinated employees and now have Covid a 2nd time while being harassed about my attendance with a policy from leadership who have been working from homes for years. We always hated sick coworkers coming to work making others nearby sick as well. Now we possibly can ki-l our peers who choose not be vaccinated as we pass Covid to them. For the naive peers that believe Covid is gone wake up and look at the newest trends on the CDC webpage. RTO was nothing more than a plan to reduce expenses and force USA employees to retire and transfer work to non union low cost call centers in India, Mexico and Philippines.
Pandemic is over until it isn’t. Just got notified that someone worked in building was diagnosed with Covid. Company’s language is owning up to zero liability. Go read the supervisor response handbook and see for yourself. In the meantime, go back to work.
Waah!
the basement dummy occupying the white house just extended the covid emergency.
Because it is. Stop using that excuse and get to work. Make sure you get your 14th booster and upload that too. 🙄
Jeremy is an imbecile! He needs to be gone from AT&T. Unfortunately no other company would have him.
No wifi/ethernet connection is what I meant to say, but of course we aren’t going to have any of that when there isn’t even POTS service there. A lot of the CO’s and Pops don’t have that or might only have a couple of available Ethernet connections to plug into.
“Lol, our office doesn’t even have a landline phone, and it definitely doesn’t have wifi. A lot of buildings have the same issues, so you have no choice but to use a vpn”
Plug in means not using Wi-Fi. A Hard wired Ethernet connection does not require vpn in office. Am I missing something?
Protect yourself, protect your family. Get vaccinated.
POTUS said the Pandemic is over last September. Where have you been?
Stop trying to milk the pandemic. It was just a few cases and was over in no time. Time for a new excuse.
Lol, our office doesn’t even have a landline phone, and it definitely doesn’t have wifi. A lot of buildings have the same issues, so you have no choice but to use a vpn.
Anyone get the new vpn software? They can turn yours off individually for certain hours of the day. Plug in or don’t get paid.
The Chinese gov is making sure the new variants get spread all around the world and yes if you haven't noticed by now that this was all a world economic forum plan to release the virtual coin replacing the dollar you must be watching too much tv
How many days?
The pandemic is the least of the concern of employee going back to work. GAS prices are very much expensive, so are FOOD and everything else. Driving back when you can just do the work remotely is ILLOGICAL and does not help anyone. The employee, the traffic, the pollution ETC.
Jeremy is a blowhard! He does not deserve the respect he is getting today. Employees fear him and what he is capable of doing to them. He pictures himself as the next AT&T CEO, how funny is that?
The pandemic has been over for a couple of years now. Some people want to live their lives afraid of a glorified cold, but sane people realize they can go about their normal lives.
That being said, there’s no reason to force people back to the office except to micromanage them and make their lives miserable, which is what this company is truly about.
Who is Legg? I have heard this in my org too. I believe if you are high risk, then you can make arrangements. I am pregnant and high risk. I would not risk going to the office to possibly get covid. Normally, I would go to the office as I get along well with my co-workers.
I have worked remotely for 15 years only going in on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Don't understand the big deal. I don't work when I'm home & don't work at work.
Just play the game, shake the bush & cash the paycheck for doing nothing.
What prompted the post?
Did Legg host a meeting / send an email about returning to the office?
Yawn...
Sooooo glad to hear our so called leadership thinks covid is over. Looking forward to seeing their ridiculous mask mandate dropped for people that stood their ground!
Just remember, they have got to catch you first, then try to prove you violated their mandate. Since AT&T has never been able to manage any process, why would this be any different? I say it's time to call their bluff!
The pandemic is now endemic, so live with it. Folks need to quit being scared of their own shadow. Now I agree the whole back to office thing is bs if you don’t have a team at that same location to collaborate with. However, if they say I have to go in, I’ll go in. I won’t like it but I will
I'm so glad that many companies are still hiring remote workers. No need to worry about what T will do. Just move on.
My doctor told me yesterday that it is going to become more like the flu where we have to get a new COVID shot every year like the flu shot. She says like the common flu, it is here to stay.
They want you back in so you dont have to turn in your equipment when they lay you off.
They pay us. So if that is a requirement to getting paid, I go in. If you don't like it, you have the option to not come in and then possibly face the consequence of being laid off. The pandemic is over.
