As a commenter on Seeking Alpha recently said, "Genoa really screams, right up to the point where there's silent data corruption and the kernel panics,"

Yes. It will help to regain market share lost to AMD.
How would the P&L of DCAI get affected by assimilating AXG? What is the status of GPU Max? It’s in press release with CPU Max but not much fanfare in the launch event. RK is not even there.
Server group was barely break even last earnings report so, we sure hope it will help... It's shocking since just a few years ago server had billions in positive free cash flows. Sure, a bunch of losing businesses have been buried in the P/L to hide it from investors, but also Altera was added and that should have been throwing lots of cash. Hard to understand just how much cost waste gets buried using sector reporting 'shuffle'...
Another perfectly good product knee-capped by Intel's atrocious execution.
Now it's going up against Zen4 Genoa instead of Zen3 Milan.
Same type of delays hampered IceLake, TigerLake and even AlderLake's success in the market.
Reviews suggest great product but profitability depends on yields and sales.
Luckily the "Neither good at Sales, Nor at Marketing" type of employees can't do any harm if the product is good.
Will reduce the loss but still behind AMD. Market share loss will continue till they can execute two more generations on schedule and get to 4nm on schedule.
No reason for anyone to switch to Intel as they have burned everyone for years while AMd has delivered
As the saying goes, a day late and a dollar short.
It is now going up against Zen4 Genoa and not Zen3 Milan.
Just like Alder Lake in client, it might stop the bleeding for a little while, but it will not change the overall trajectory as Intel is now two generations behind TSMC in fab process technology.
Simple questions get simple answers, so YES.
It looks like a great product. I think it will kick bu-t and help the data center group immensely. Kudos to the great engineers.
