Many can definitely find better jobs elsewhere and some of them will leave because of RTO mandates. The question is how many will do so?

@2avk+1kBEMoEe I am searching for my next job. If I have an offer with increased pay/benefits, no matter if WFH or RTO, I'd be switching jobs in the spot.
Still, I understand that WFH is better in so many levels, but the writing is on the wall. RTO is going to be called in many companies.
I already turned down multiple job offers for an increase in pay because they were asking for more in-office time than my current role at Ford. If RTO is mandated, I'll happily reapproach those companies, leave Ford, and take more money.
Make it mandatory to come into the office, and then they won't have to do a mass firing, as those people will quit. Next problem?!!
ford needs to make rto mandatory like tesla..
Which teams are being called back to the office? I am not aware of any.
Soon F will be left with all the dead weights.
Ford is not the only company that is mandating RTO. Good luck with leaving for WFH.
Not all employees were in the office everyday. WFH every Friday. Got more done that day than any other day of the week!
Maybe they will - so what? The company wants to shrink headcount. Those that would leave due to RTO aren't very committed to their jobs and are looking to leave anyway.
@OP. Not many. After all, Ford employees used to be on site every day of the week before Covid-19. I am guessing most employees will wait to get their severance packages. The best and brightest, if not already out of the company, will soon be due to the layoffs.
