Has anyone heard anything recently regarding the takeover of DXC by Baring Private Equity Asia?

@1wfx+1kB2q8OZ yes I'm well aware. Supposedly IBM's plan from the get go was to dump Kyndryl and buy someone else who had less labor exposure to EMEA. They like the idea of having a full stack offering from edge to cloud. As I understand it IBM is also quite dysfunctional so don't expect them to see any red flags. The original source for the buyout rumor claimed it was IBM. Both dxc and IBM's Private Jets where spotted in the same place on the same day DXC abruptly canceled the investor conference. Furthermore posters on here claimed that DXC had started a sales reorg to mirror IBM's model. My guess is Private equity is just here for financing. kkr one of the rumored firms has worked with IBM in the past for these sort of deals and even owns its own IT outsourcing buisness. If dxc is hiring board members with anti-trust experince then it means DXC is probably going to be bought or merge with a larger competitor. IBM just seems obvious given the coincidences.

Having just ditched their own declining GIS equivalent as Kyndryl, cannot see IBM being interested in DXC unless they can cherry pick just selective parts of GBS and ditch the rest, and maybe thats what the private equity group are trying to work through

TCS and Indian pure play declared results revenue grows 19 percent - so something has to be done.

not a dxc employee if you look at the 2 new board members DXC just hired they're both politicians with backgrounds in anti-trust law. Also the same day DXC hired these guys IBM also announced that they where bringing back the guy responsible for the red hat and Kyndryl deals to lead their mergers and aquasition strategy. I thought that was an interesting coincidence, I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.

no.
And I would not expect anything before the publishing of the quarterly numbers.
