Just had a meeting with director and supervisor . Salisbury, MD, Dover De, Hampton Roads and Richmond Call centers are being shut down. Wireline fios customer service in Silver Spring is where we can go and return to office. We can take the package or relocate there. 90 days! The package is nice but people are upset

@a4 Well we were advised because of major organization changes/restructuring that we could and union reps were in the meeting. It was a lot of legal jargon but they point to our contract what’s in it. So a lot of people with 20 plus years seem to get it but not all of us . From what i get we got a surplus lump sum plus a dollar amount for each year of service , those restricted stocks will be paid out. Union employees being laid off was a shock.
The exclamation point at the end of “90 days!” Shows that the OP is disingenuous and a sensationalist.
Sorry..but union employees can't be laid off until the end of the contract..and the whole return to office isn't happening either
