@nk you seem unhappy. Maybe you should have submitted the EOI.

@g4 What are you talking about??? No one in this company can be trusted!!! And besides that, if anyone was actually doing their job, we wouldn’t be in this situation where we needed to fire everyone to begin with!!!

@fy I assume people on transition are trusted. If they weren't they wkuld have been severed immediately. They can still be let go immediately if they don't do their job. And if I were them, I'd welcome the time to search for my next job.

Transition dates work wonders. Tell someone they will be losing their job in 6 months while giving them the exact same package as someone who got to walk immediately. Everyone on transition will definitely give 120% lol. Great concept.

Involuntary separation is still ongoing today (Thursday). It is complete for some groups and locations (IT, GTF, legal/comms, AK are what I'm aware of), but finance is happening right now.
HR was last week.

@ea, the transition date is communicated during the EOI acceptance or during the involuntary call that people receive. This means there is likely more future dates of separation pending for people that haven't received a call yet.

@e9 have those notifications been made for those with transition periods?

Changes this week are only for employees and contractors that were cut immediately. There are a lot of people with future separation dates. The cuts are below the 25% target right now because you cannot see the full picture.

Many of the people asking questions here don't work for COP so don't have access to look things up.

Bartlesville. I hit the EOI button almost immediately—COP has really put their employees through the wringer this last year. It doesn’t make sense economically for them to keep satellite locations open anymore (at least not for very much longer). Unfortunately, finance is one of those areas where AI can yield much more cost-efficient outcomes. Top leadership did a poor job rolling this out and my guess is it will backfire—not sticking around to find out.

Finance and Legal are safe. Accountants and lawyers are priceless. You honestly can’t have too many.

My boss called just to say I was safe. Who the he** does that one all calls are presumed to be bad. Talk about not reading the room correctly.

From the looks of things thus far nowhere near the intended 25% target. Just a bunch of fear mongering to get the best producers to stop caring in 2025.

Someone at the last layoff made a Spotfire project that took a snapshot of the active directory before layoffs begain and then gave you "differences" to what it is now.
