Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Another round of layoffs for VSE

Another 6 people in my group of 30 got layoffs yesterday from VSE in RA. Came out of nowhere.
Of course they kept some of the more useless people.

I haven't seen anything posted about it. Strangely quiet and quick.

It's called a stealth layoff. Intel has gotten good at this.

A stealth layoff is a company's practice of reducing its workforce without publicizing it as a mass layoff. Instead, it often disguises the terminations as performance-related issues, using tactics like putting employees on a "performance improvement plan" to encourage them to leave, or reassigning them to less desirable roles. This approach is used to maintain the appearance of a stable company to clients, investors, and the public.

The first rule of VSE is that no one talks about VSE.
