Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Leaders Linkdin posts

I find the posts on Linkdin by various leaders at Verizon, to be completely tone deaf. Fancy dinners, and trips to Paris. Sure, it might be work related, but its a real slap in the face to be living it up in luxury while your employees are preparing for the worst. Do better.

@as why? Why are you even posting garbage about a toxic company that wants to fire all of their hard working contributors? Instead of grand standing, maybe some of these id--t executive should’ve been working on a plan to make their area more profitable. Instead, they’re online posting propaganda every night.

These so-called leaders think that posting on LinkedIn every night. Is really going to help them, when they’ve been completely ineffective in getting products to market and selling to customers. Dan needs to do something about the overinflated executive team that Verizon continues to lose revenue to other carriers. I don’t think posting on LinkedIn is going to cut it for him.

Then dont look at them. There's people better off in every aspect of life. Live your own.

LinkedIn is a 3rd grader's show off BS. A "look at me, look at me" kind of deal. A pointless self congratulatory place, full of nonsense (great job! messages) and hypocrisy, completely detached from reality and truth.

As a Leader, I draft my LinkedIn posts during work time, then post 'em at bedtime so the other Leaders think that I'm working late

These so-called leaders keep posting all day every day about stuff that they think they’re in control of. This is not gonna save them from Dan Schulman. And most of them deserve the axe.

@OP ... well, they are "doing better" ... ;-)

It's a d-mb catch-phrase anyway.

Most LinkedIn posts are garbage anyway…just talking to an echo chamber. What I do notice now though is the amount of negative comments left on Verizon leader’s posts…customers are not happy and staff are not happy…hey maybe there’s a connection there!
