"Family" is the legitimate and shortened part of the term Wells corporate uses to describe the once hard-working but now harmoniously "Layed off Family" of Wells Fargo. Common, won't you join us? Call now for more info after your layoff to 1-800-Well-sAx.

I got my call 10/28…so close enough to end of month but, hey, at least we get our 401k match for the year!

@aq it's mainly an ops center. Which ops group, I don't know. Doesn't really matter though because they are grouping all of Ops into one when it comes to location strategy.

It would appear, based on recent events, that there is a push to spend money dedicated to severance before year end and that is taking precedence over the traditional Tuesday cadence of layoffs. Lubbock is a great town and employees likely cost less there then any current domestic hub. This is how we know they eventually all the domestic hubs will close. HY simply considers American workers to expensive to employ.

@OP
Did you mean they were laid off on Friday Oct 31,
What LOB is this.

If this info is legit, it means WF is now aggressively laying off people on any given date. No longer only Tuesday after payday.
