Honeywell aero quality has declined since COVID.
Many new products fail within the first year.
The SARA product line is a joke. 85% fail rate.
The mentality of Olathe management is revenue not quality to make goals for upper management bonuses.
I can’t imagine after the separation, tons of customers knocking on Honeywell’s door wanting new products .
Current org is on wait and see. Plans continue to build new products like anthem and related avionics but orders are low and leadership is completely focused on the project winter activities. I would expect not much to change until feb or march of next year and then it will happen fast. By July the separation will be in full swing and the new leadership team will begin to make adjustments in the product mix and overall footprint.
Everywhere across Honeywell is like that now, in 15 years I have never seen it so lifeless, all the brains and charisma have long left. I am genuinely amazed the collapse has not come sooner, every single dirty method of propping up the stock price has been exploited that doesn't actually involve building the business. Wait for the split after the split :)
