@k3 remote. Most if not all PCB is remote now. 3 years ago they were pulling people from other departments to here. Clifton has been a s**tshow for years. All disgruntled. Alpharetta surprises me. I was going to transfer there. Seemed great, great people but now is going down.

@kw hmmmm wonder what that acronym might be? 🤔😂
@k3 you mean since standards were dropped bc of that 3 letter acronym we dare not say in the same sentence as standards.
@ja
Location?
Clifton has had some chatter about out sourcing micro assembly for un-programmed PCBs. The on-site assemblers for the last few years have been doing a sh-t job. We've had a big brain drain here since the merger.

Where are you?

Dulles Virginia, Rochester New York, and Brevard county Florida employees who were laid off have posted on social media, layoffs to engineering, planning, operations, quality control, and even human resources. Not seeing anything from other locations yet. The layoffs appear to be below the threshold to require a WARN notice. Rumors about this layoff were correct beginning two weeks ago right down to the actual date; thursday, November 6th. The same folks are saying more layoffs the week of Thanksgiving. I would pay attention.
@an please share which dept/site.
Email went out, forwarded from upper management. Nobody I know but our department was hit. We’re safe for now until next month. I’m going to prepare myself
Clifton? Rochester?
What locations?
Yup seems across the board too, engineering, operations and overhead functions too. Planning, hr, supply chain, finance, few program managers too
