@b7

Spread the word about Ford's CIA ties via its Ford Foundation.

Things have only gotten worse.

@qb That's a really good outlook! I'll give that a shot. Thank you!

I’m here to do a better job trolling than the bots as I still have enough inside lingo to drop into comments.

Mainly personal interest/soft news, wouldn't mind some weather, and an advice column might be nice.

OP must be drunk!

I retired 3 years ago and moved to Florida. Very few Ford retirees in my county. I visit this site to read. Nothing more. It is crazy how things have changed.

I dunno...what "do you are" wanting to desire to talk to about?

Writing helps.

Are you serious?

I've seen too many F&F come back over the years.

I wish I never started my career in the automotive. This is the worst junk industry, just like California start ups tech that treat people like a toilet paper to make a quick buck. It took me years to understand that the whole show here is to deceive, humiliate, obuse customers, investors and most importantly you. It never stops in forever anarchy.

@b7, You can do what I do and tell people how they treated you and not to ever buy a Ford product because of the way they treat their employees. The fact that they now make junk really helps too!

Since I was involuntarily ’retired’, I come to this site to see the company crash.

If there’s any way I can help in its demise, let me know.

I come here for the schadenfreude but I stay for the snarky comebacks.

Most employees know that it's likely their days are numbered. Use chatgpt to ask about the statistics of 2008 - 2010 GFC. You got over 50k people laid off from each OEM + probably another 20k from suppliers, if they even survived. Check the exact numbers.

When you say rehiring , do you mean those who left voluntarily or those who were laid off? The papers state clearly that no way back is possible if you are laid off. Need clarification here.

Hired, laid off , re-hired, laid off and disposed. People get put up with this and even going back ??!!!! Crazy. Big obusers of yourself or stuck in limbo with no other options ?

@a6

Rehiring has already started. Even some forced out are going back. Most of those left are stressed and overworked and always on edge about being cut. Billy ruined Ford when he brought in Hatchet and Fartley

I was forced out when I gave my manager a bad Pulse review. I like reading all topics, but especially other people ‘s experiences with their management.

I was one of the people forced into an early retirement and I monitor this site to see when the company finally decides to bring back some of the retired or fired Subject Matter Experts to help revive and breathe new life into this once great multi-generational
American company.
