Has anyone ever put in their 2 weeks notice & got terminated that same day or before your last day? I’m contemplating on if I should. This is NOT a company I would ever come back to either.

Wait for the termination and get your severance!!
it depends on what you say and how much they need you to finish out those two weeks - if youre going to a competitor and you SAY THAT you will be walked out that day. i've seen all sorts of situations
USE your PTO then quit!!! Do NOT give them two weeks notice. My friend gave them her notice and they walked them out the door 30mins later….
The real question, why give them any notice at all. Do you think they are going to let you know in advance that your job is moving to India?
@ss In CA they pay you out for it.
@qa if you leave on your own you are not paid out of your PTO. (At least in my state you are not)
@nn They pay you out all of your PTO so no need to worry about using it up.
@ap take all your PTO that you can, then give notice and either they’ll terminate you right away or they’ll keep paying you for 2 weeks while you run down the clock. Why deprive you of 2 weeks pay when you can just coast for the rest of your sentence?
@ja did you disclose that information?
I put in 2 weeks notice to go to a competitor and was let go that day. They did pay me through the 2 weeks.
@ff What about other positions?
@bj Not for this position that I applied to.
@b9 this company you now work for wouldn't still be hiring, would they?
@a6 it’s definitely with a competitor but I won’t disclose that information to them.
@b4 I became fed up with the company honestly. The micromanagement, being underpaid, & taking calls back to back was mentally exhausting. I’m just thankful I finally landed a job that will pay more & it’s a non phone position.
I have recently put in my 2 weeks notice and I am still working clearing up what I have until I leave. The stress of working here was just becoming too much and they dont care. I got a new job elsewhere.
Same I am contemplating not giving a two week notice since I do not plan to work in healthcare anytime soon again. I got a new position internally of course they baited and switched and put me on a different team than what I accepted the job for. So I’m now training for a job I did not sign up for and I absolutely hate it. And they don’t want us to take our PTO, I got denied my PTO request… sorry that I don’t want to save PTO at a company that is aggressively laying off it’s entire US based talent. This company is absolute trash at this point.
are you going to work for Ford or BCBS? If you are going to a competitor you will likely be shut down that day.
Also remember UHG would never give you two weeks notice if they are going to fire you, so give them as much heads up as you care.
