Getting kinda scared by the figures some folks are quoting on here…if 20 or 30% of Verizon is leaving then what does that mean for those left behind? I think some employees will not be able to cope with that amount of change and a huge shift in workload

@a3 you sound like an underpaid India worker
Since VSP is not likely collect all the paychecks you can. Save as much as you can. Too much going on with this Verizon DOJ mess. They're likely going to be fined and may not be trusted to carry out the FAA contract. The brand has been struggling since 2020.
No VSP . That ship has sailed . You will not have a choice .
"Is it better to stay or go?"
Were you in The Clash?
@aj they didn't offer it to everyone. Wish they had.
The same thing has happened every few years. Folks leave, workload increases, projects that dont improve the bottom line get cut, the cycle continues. I for one hope that Dan can rebuild what Hans tore down. Time will tell!
By the end of all this you will wish that you took the VSP in 2024
For operation type of work, load will be redistributed or outsourced. For “new builds”, low ROI initiatives will be cut. Expect some pet projects will be ki-led as well.
Waaaa, I have to do my job if people leave. Waaaa
Offer a solid VSP, taxed in 26, and they will get number
I worked as a rep just this year. They are very aggressive. They force us to sneak stuff on your bill. Harrass us and mistreat us if we care for the customer. I refused to add additional things. Or offer items they can’t afford. It resulted in write up and then advising me were not finical advisors. Then fired. They only care to sign you up. And put you in debt. Think about this. If your phone is 1,300.00 you trade in an old phone. 1.) why are you waiting to get your payment for an item they now have and own.
2.) one line after tax is about 100.00 *12 months =1,2000 a year times the 3 year contract 1,2000X36 months 3600. You paid 3 times the price. Unfortunately, I’d advised you to go to mint and pay the year for under 300.00 bucks . Unlimited talk, text, and data. You will thank me later .
Leaders will reprioritize work with less workforce. haha
It will be a lot more work for those left behind. But this isn't the 2022 job market. Corporate job market is rough out there right now.
