Looks like they really are taking the training wheels off the managers and letting them manage a little. It's funny though to watch them try to continue all the garbage McK generated simply to have projects to charge time against. Maybe now they will see the idiocy of it all and how / who REALLY made the new organization. Good luck managing the pile McK leaves behind.

There was an McK.. back some time that actually did lead, talk to employees, help manage career development and really was the person that made the Permian play work for Chevron despite all the others claiming the success - My understanding is that they removed him to make way for their Fls. The other McK and BCG combined wouldn't be able to do what one experienced committed and passionate McK could achieve. That's why our future is bleak.
@br there’s no way the numbers is that high. You can drill a ton of wells with that number.
Name one competent BCG or McKinsey consultant in your organization right now. I’ll wait!!!!
We’ve spent almost a billion dollars this year on McKinsey, BCG, Bain, and E&Y.
It is simply disgusting.
Chevron is a fu--ing giant corporate sh-t show ran by cowards with a work force of yes sir no sir employees that are just numbers on a spreadsheet!
Don worry. BCG is waiting in the wings.
