Will surveys of those let go even be counted?
@a3 I answered the employee survey honestly. IBM su-ks, doesn't listen to its employees, and treats people like garbage all while pushing team, family, unity, and doing more with less bullsh-t.
Trick or treat?
1/1 with my mgr already scheduled for tuesday, which is why i didn't get the news on monday. late monday got a request to reschedule for no reason, which i normally get when there's a change. had a feeling, and i was right. i'm in software, located in USA, not on PIP, working on AI products since being hired so has nothing to do with performance or what you work on. i'm the last american on my team; all others in india, poland or ireland. in fact, there are active job postings for my role in ireland and uk and salaries are a fraction.
Is IBM Goodwill still standing at over 8 billion dollars with this layoff ?
I'll tell Comrades Alvind and Modi what they can do with it.
Merry Christmas right !
Not surprised. Truly heartless company .
just got RA'ed after 9 years
I got notified today via text message
Not trying to spin this too much but in a weird way it’s a relief
I don’t have to tie my stomach in knots anymore
And to be honest I’m going to continue to perform like I always do until the last day
I don’t have Alvinds and Krabanaughs perk packages but I’ll always be a better man than those 2 ever will be
@a2 One year, IBM Management even did an RA the day before Thanksgiving in the US. You can imagine how horrible that was as it was a large RA.
That is the sort of soul destroying inhuman experience that Comrade Alvind and his bloodthirsty Pipmunk executives want the IBM employees to experience.
They waited until the employee engagement survey was done.
Something very heartless about laying people off before Christmas. Here I'm thinking about the impact on families.... Merry Christmas from IBM.
This is the Halloween surprise! I think we’ll have a new year party too
