Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Right Management?

Has anyone used the benefit Right Management for career placement after EOI yet? Some googling has me thinking it's a waste of time. I'm not looking for a new job for another 6 months or so, so IDK if I can delay starting it or not.
Anyone find a good recruiter they can recommend for engineering/operations?

If it’s been a while or decades since you looked for a job I recommend taking advantage of the benefit. They are good for resume services, interview preparation, and coaching tools, techniques. Today’s job market is the Wild West with hiring managers and applicants using AI. Boards like Jobs.ai are designed to spam applications with the hiring using ATS and AI to filter out noise.

It has and always been your network to get a job. Right will teach you tools to build or nurture one but won’t network for you.

Best recruiters are friends and other personal connections, that’s how most I’ve known (myself included) have easily landed well after taking EOIs. I would hit the ground hard, without a clear direction of where you want to go it could take some.
