Does anyone have any insight to what the email Pam sent out to the Americas and Danbury groups is trying to convey?

Exxon-Mobil is so into doing things "their way" that they don't mind if their methods calculate less original oil in place than cumulative production from a field. After 40 years in the industry, I've never seen such a group of id--ts so stuck on "methodology" that they ignore the obvious.
Denbury is truly laughable. But we need humor in our lives. I don’t see the worst being blended into the best as anything other than that.
