So, I've been holding on to my Shel shares waiting for them to announce the move to the US. I figure that's the last rabbit to pull out of the old hat, and then the show is over. Honestly, shares have been on a rise lately and its been a decade since they've been this high and there is no discernible reason for the price to be this high. I've sold some just in case this is the highest they get. But I am speculating that the price jumps when Shell moves to the US. I mean its not value, its not growth potential, its not the buy-backs, its not the leadership and their vision. We're all waiting and hoping for the announcement that makes the shares jump so we can sell. Shows over soon I hope.

share buy back in small quantities is a good sign
share buyback setting records is a sign that the company is a zombie buying its own butt on the way to boost the price. less float available to retail buyers means the same demand causes higher stock prices. this is basic supply and demand and anyone who disagrees is a fool. the only question is what numbers mean you’re meaningfully shrinking open market float enough to boost the price.m
anyway i have a lot of stock vesting in march so hopefully i can get out before all of the short term tricks like buying the float and selling or abandoning good assets to pad the books wear off. real shame what the green mafia did to this company.
Yeah, also waiting to push the button and get rid of 2000 aex Shell SRA stocks. Yes provided 2020 till 2023 as retention, only to make me cease to exist in 2024. Typical how the company is run.

Yes shares have been on the rise, but don’t hold your breath. There are better growth stocks for investment. Share buybacks and speculation of HQ relocating to the US are not growth strategies. If you work at Shell, you should know what a mess it is internally.
