IBM cloud has 2% market share. Nuff said. That is a terrible place to be and "selling cloud" is like watching paint dry. Sorry to be harsh but there is a band 6 RCG recent college grad on deck to replace you and start cold calling all 200 of your accounts (more like contacts who may be dead and likely asked IBM never to contact them again in ISC). IBM top line revenue growth has been about 2-3% which is pathetic and why they BUY THINGS now and no longer MAKE THINGS. $37,000,000,000 for Red Hat?! IBM you got MOSS'd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@OP I’m in the same boat. I even got a call from the Director asking if I’d be willing to relocate to the state where IBM is located. It seems like tech folks with the highest pay are being targeted, and it doesn’t look like they care much about whether the person is highly skilled or not.

Just be prepared, as we all know the axe is going to fall sooner or later (it's usually sooner). It should happen to the many incompetent middle managers and executives with superfluous titles at the IBM CIO and F&O who do nothing and are nothing but a load of pompous jackasses, particularly those pretending to be Cloud and Security experts. Start the cutting right with Joanne Wright and you can't go wrong.
