Thread regarding Wayfair Inc. layoffs

Where is the after Wayday call volume?

Anyone else concerned that upper management will use all this green time between calls as an excuse to prove are roles are no longer needed?

I can't understand why they're still implementing mandatory overtime and voluntary overtime when MC is hardly getting calls.

Front line is also being directed not to call us with this red light signal. It all seems very strange for a company this large.

This is beyond slow, something is amiss. I had 6 calls from sales agents today saying they are now doing customer service calls and they wanted to know how to process a resolution. I dont get it.

GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN. Families don't have extra spending money on non-essential items atm until the budget passes. Let's hope it passes soon so we can have a busy peak. We need every sale we can get!

Slowest wayday traffic ever. Be very worried if you are not getting calls. It means you are not needed.

I’m in front line and my manager said that we are back to handling all calls. Not sure what’s happening to MC team.

It’s very strange it’s like this dept is no longer needed. I’m looking for a new position. Get out while you can.
