It seems with all the changes and weather and the hurricane affecting JSL Multi contact is dead why? Frontline seems busy but no transfers? Any insight?

GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN. Millions of middle class families are greatly impacted and not receiving a paycheck so any extra spending money is non existent until a budget passes! Say your prayers congress figured this out. Do furloughed government employees receive back pay?
There is no technical issue, its just a lack of calls.
So this isn’t normal!!? No one’s able to take off and there are no calls for frontline. The ones I do get have to be transferred. I think there is some technical issue (once it’s fixed we’ll receive an influx of calls.) or they’re planning to train other departments (more JSL, etc.) to take our place after layoffs.
I am very worried with whats happening, its not normal to have no phone calls.
Multi contact should be busier than this, and why are they offering overtime when its this slow. Its insane, and makes me very worried.
My friend works in sales, she said she got training to take frontline calls. I have had hardly any calls this past week, what is management up to?
Its very worrying, my entire shift was 5 phone calls. Who is taking the calls, do they have a secret team doing our jobs?
And sales agents being trained for service next week. That should be interesting...
Then why all this forced overtime in MC? Makes no sense.
We are told not to transfer to MC for the time being.
