Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Violation of the WARN act?

The WARN act requires companies with over 100 full-time employees to give workers 60 days notice of layoffs. Is anyone filing an EEOC claim?

Regardless of WARN, how is it that the local MN stations aren’t reporting on the massive layoffs from this RIF? Target cut a similar number and every Twin Cities station had that news as a feature story.

They probably cut 49 people in each state/office weekly.

It is your location code. Has to be more than 50 in one location code.

It only applies when all workers are at one location. It does not apply to telecommuting across multiple states. If you had thaf many laid off at one physical locations that meets the requirement then consider it.
