First off I want to say it’s been great working with everyone here. These past 5 years have certainly blew by with all the ups and downs and I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I was part of this round of layoffs but will be staying until early next year (Golden Globes?) and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a chance the separation date could move up?

Normally not up, more likely to be pushed back, I'd say. I've heard of people told they'd have to leave by X date and then kept getting extended until they just were back as normal. One of them ended up getting promoted. This was a number of layoffs ago. Not to get your hopes up but sometimes those situations are fluid depending on needs and I have definitely seen dates pushed back again and again.
Generally no, the business is planning against that date.
