Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Does Optum usually have layoffs around holidays?

I hope we're safe for the rest of the year, considering that the holiday season is starting. Or am I expecting too much?

Next round is usually right before you get your fictional story on your eval that you most likely penned yourself and the manager just cut and pasted in the form and find out "merit" and "bonus". That is late Feb in the past

Standard practice in previous years was end of October or early November was the last for the year and then there’s a pause through the holidays. They pick it back up around February before they have to give raises and bonuses.
