I’ve been trying to find another job for months, but I rarely come across a posting that’s even real, let alone get an interview. All this talk about upcoming layoffs is making me extremely anxious. I’m terrified of losing my job and being out of work for a long time. How is someone supposed to support their family when they’re running out of options?

I had 2 sales openning positions 7V. Was told yesterday to pull reqs… headcount frozen
Assumption those reqs gonna be sacrificed by VP to RIF reduction
Vote for people they will punish companies that uses foreign labor
@OP, you should be RIF'd. If you are desperate to keep your job, sounds like you would sell your soul and not someone I could trust of my team. You need to stiffen your spine and take it on the chin if you're let go.
Thats because people from other countries came here to steal your job and future. Let em find jobs where the are from and where the belong. Enough is enough. America should be employing Americans FIRST, not last...
Make a plan.
Start cutting expenses, and put that $ into your savings. 6 months of your expenses, saved, no excuses. Build that up, the ax won't fall for a few months so get going, and get going right now, today. Make an online transfer right now into a savings account of just a few dollars, and you have done what most people never do, which is to get going.
Think positively about your problems, and take actions that improve your situation. No pity parties allowed, be tough on yourself and you will build true resilience.
You are not alone.
We’re in the golden age. Everything is great! Thankful for the corporate tax policy that they can use to trickle down to AI at the expense of people’s lives. If only post it notes would make it all better!
