What is the scuttlebutt about the sales kickoff of him in Denver? Perusing through linkedin, The SKO has been posted that it was an amazing event with lots of pictures showing people having a good time. Can more be shared?

@1ah what will make you feel better? Tell me and I'm gonna say that in your way. It is sad for the people let go, actually we miss them a lot, but the business should keep running, what do you expect the company do?
Most of the comments here come from resentful people of the company because sadly were laid off. But people still at Avaya are still working hard to have the company running the best possible way. Turn the page and focus your energy in your next and best challenge instead of being resentful with the company that fed you for so many years.
@dp "It's a shame for the people who couldn't attend because they were laid off beforehand"
Is this tongue in cheek or just utter tone deafness? Hard to tell these days.
@e9 that would be par for the course for Avaya. They did the same thing last year when they flew in a bunch of Avaya people to "Avaya Engage 2024" then laid some of them off afterwards.
It’s barely been a week since SKO and they’ve already laid off several of the people they flew there for team building. Any motivation gained from the event is already gone due to more layoffs. This place is a joke.
In summary, IT WAS GREAT! Amazing time spending with colleagues. It's a shame for the people who couldn't attend because they were laid off beforehand, but the company made a great effort and investment in bringing us together and organizing this SKO, which was fantastic! A huge shot of enthusiasm and motivation!
Yes a good time was had by some people.
Great event but would have been even better if they hadn’t been laying people off immediately before, during, and after it. How are we supposed to deliver on what we heard at SKO with no employees?
"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!'
