Thread regarding Insight Enterprises Inc. layoffs

Swing and a miss... Really...

This really says it all right here:

we effectively managed Adjusted selling and administrative expenses, offset by softer Insight Core services and hardware performance

Basically they fired more people to try and turn the sinking ship around as it is their only lever to pull when you can't get KrustyBurger to deliver on numbers. You can see in the numbers just how much they are spending in offshoring in EMEA as well as continued offshoring in the US. Buckle up kids, looks like this is the new Insight, slash and burn your way to profit! Keep your heads down and hope that your teammates don't turn on you so that you get tagged in the next on-going episode of "RIF or Sink", coming to you on a major network soon!

Cue the music....

I'll tumble for you.....

Seems this last one was big as I have contacts in other departments that are gone, Finance, Services.... People just vanish around this place. You really don't know which team is going to get hit next and I personally do not think that the layoffs are done for the year. Just crazy. I keep looking for job postings particularly stationed in India and the Philippines to see if my role is next on the hit list.

Drop it like it's hot... Well the stock for sure is cold as ice, they are willing to sacrifice all your souls.....

Whomever stated this would plummet to $80, well, seems to be spot on. Can't put enough juice in the stock buy back program to move the needle..

More and more institutional investors are dropping NSIT like it's a plague. Which this company is for sure with it's toxic environment. Watch your back "team". LOL. Cause you are next.

All open reqs pulled.... Says a lot, no back fills, no growth accelerators with more CAPtain_Krusty buddies. What are we going to do with these over expensive, non-delivering team, teammates.?????

The best comedy remarks are the HR responses on Glassdoor.. Someone is really drinking the Kool-aide or desperate not to get whacked.... Coming soon, on the Hallmark channel... HR Unicorn Hunters.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We truly value your dedication to your role and your personal growth within the company, and it's encouraging to hear about the positive support you've received from your senior manager. However, we are deeply concerned to learn about some of the poor leadership behaviors you are experiencing, as this completely contradicts our core values. We take these allegations very seriously, and this is not the environment we want for any of our teammates. We strongly encourage you to report your experience through human resources so we can conduct a thorough investigation and take appropriate action.

@115 Nice one. For sure all the growth is happening outside the "big 4" publicly traded VARs. The privately held VARs don't get hung up on acronyms in pursuit of higher P/E multiples. SHI > $15BN, WWT >$30BN (pre-softchoice).

Even Converge/Pellera (terrible new name) is north of $5BN IIRC. Compunet coming in hot via the Mountain states and investing in engineering and local offices before hiring sales (can you imagine that in 2025???).

But the real shift is and has been to SaaS, less on prem, everything else as-a-Service esp. in midmarket and as customer IT teams don't grow much. CDW is strong there with Avant relationship, other big 4 ignoring that avenue/focus.

CDW nailed their quarter, seems that someone is doing something right and well over there. 4% growth... Guess being a SuperFlyWheelAISolutionsIntegratorSuperStarWhiz (formerly know as a VAR) is only for the true Unicorns out there roaming around in GenAIFutureLand.

Whomever stated that the stock was going to hit $80 was spot on. This thing is just dropping like the brilliant ideas that the "leadership" team has done to mess up this company.. Poor Legal guy who purchased stock at $187.. It's also quite telling when zero of the company directors (aka SVPs or EVPs) have purchased ZERO stock. Not even Re-Joyce has purchased any. Usually the CEO makes a symbolic statement with purchasing the stock of the company that you are running. Tell of the tape.

62 years old and retiring? What the what? Looks like a ejection button was pushed.

It's amazing how someone in less than 3 years the CEO completely ki-led a growing company and turned it into a Unicorn Hunter that it can't be cause they have forced out all the good people. Your being gas lit thinking that you are at a special place.

Definitely got let go. Which is ironic considering the amount of people that lost their jobs due to someone under-qualified to do the job and also surrounded themselves with yes men id--ts.

Well it looks like someone tried to sell their home in March in TX and then took it off the market once they could not sell it.. In April. If the plan was in early 2025 to retire, then there is a rouse afoot. I smell a with a nose like Pinocchio!

Good riddance! Let's hope we get a decent leader and that none of the existing fools gets promoted. If they do, we are all doomed. That's a fact Jack.

@am not sure what wokeness has to do with anything -- Insight proves that you can be terrible regardless of race, gender, or orientation. Truly a meritocracy!

CEO's don't just walk away from their cushy performance based packages, they retire when they are dinosaurs (after getting very very rich first and foremost..) or when the Board finally nudges them out the door for interrupting their retirement plans on RSUs given to them multiple times a year start to sink in value. Either that or a coup by an outside investing firm or by your very own loyal direct report henchmen (not really women anymore). Once it's announced it's like you are a ghost in your own haunted mansion. Timing's quite appropriate don't you think? Tricked not treat.

For sure used clothing fashionista websites will be flooded with Fuschia wardrobe items once the secession target is picked.

Hope all the SVPs are worried for their own skins with the mess they got this company into. Usually a new leader wants to clean house and bring in their own crew just like the CAPtain_Idiots....

Retiring LOL, seems that the board finally woke up from it's wokeness.... Get a real CEO (and while at it a real CFO, and NA Pres.)!
