If you were let go yesterday so you get your 401k match or bonus? I almost think they did it yesterday so they don't have to pay those 2 out. Thoughts?

@c2 you have to be employed on 12/15 to get the match. You don’t have to employed on 12/31 to receive it.
bonus, if your manager(s) decide on it. we were laid off last sept (24) and still got our bonus...smaller than normal but we got it.
you have to be employed on 12/31 to get your 401k match so if your 60 days falls within that you'll get it.
i know they intentionally let folks go early so they dont HAVE to pay the match.
I don't think you get the 401k Match, the benefits book indicates you need to be employed on 12/31 if the year to receive it. During the 60 days non-working period, your 401k contributions still happen, but once that's done, you are considered not employed anymore and you can't contribute to your 401k anymore.
60 days starting 10/28 means the 60 day period ends 12/27. I'm sure that was chosen intentionally for this and other benefits related items rolling into 2026.
401k match you will get, bonus, while eligible is up to your old group and manager. plenty of people have gotten bonus though
They're cutting people nearly every other Tuesday. Somebody somewhere along the way is going to miss out on one thing or another.
If you got let go yesterday, you qualify for both.
