Just got my golden ticket recently. This is the 1st time I have been laid off so I reflected for about a day to soak it in after being here for over a decade. What a sense of relief it has been after that first day though. Since the layoff I found a job I throughly enjoy doing. So if you are someone that just hates your day to day start building / reconnecting with your network and chase something you like. You only get one life so don’t dedicate it to a company that is just going to oust you. Once you get older around 40+ it’s going to get harder and harder to find a job. Find a company that TRUELY has similar values as you.

@OP Ummmm...hope you are set financially because there arent any jobs. Unless you want to ask people "do you want fries with that". I am staying on as long as possible. JR is so hot
Each year technology brings in untrained people. They provide training and low pay. Once you have two years in, you have to leave. Abandon this dump and use your skills to get better pay and respect. The bank is a stepping stone and not a destination.
@f1 bank policy requires a 30 day notice granted it can be a non working notice. Severance is based on grade and time of service. Cobra generally I think is for 90 days.
For these one-off layoff do they give you any notice period or severance or any insurance for certain period? Or they just let you go
I want out too, this company is going nowhere fast.
All the best!!
Did you get any severance?
I’ve been looking to get out of here for over a year and can’t find anything. Starting to feel real hopeless.
Department? Where you remote?
Jackpot, congrats!
