Has anyone applied for CA unemployment insurance and received a mandatory request for “Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment” (RESEA), via zoom meeting? If so, can you please share some details of what ensued in such meeting?

Same experience as the other response for me. One thing to add, they requested to know what jobs I had applied to in the last two weeks, it's part of the DE-8531 form. Though I hadn't actually hit apply on positions, the woman didn't press too hard on the "results" column. It was okay to say "job not a good fit" or "no response" or "pending"
She also asked for some general terms that she could put on my CalJOBS profile to help me match open jobs (think "product owner" or "finance analyst").
Finally, there were a couple of documents that she emailed to me to e-sign during the meeting, so be prepared for that.
Thanks @bh+1! That’s helpful to know
I received an RESEA notice and attended the mandatory meeting. It consisted of a review of the details I provided in my unemployment application (went something like “you entered X is that correct?” Umm YAH), and information on assistance and job websites available. Took about 1 hr. Then was required to attend a 2nd event (I.e. workshop) via Zoom. PowerPoint presentation where Dude was clearly reading from a script. Another wasted hour. Overall, absolutely nothing to worry about!
