Laid off this morning.
4 of us were left remote (no hubs near us) - the 2 oldest were laid off this morning and the 2 younger ones kept...but yeah, nothing to do with age (sarcasm).

@boohoo crying a river about "being targeted for being old" is a fools game. The demographics of Wells Fargo employment shows it is heavily over-weighted in long tenured, aged workers. Just because some get laid off before they go back and get the younger ones means absolutely nothing.
If the employee base is 80% over 40........and 80% of those laid off are over 40..........how can it be targeting? Oh wait, it doesn't matter because the sloppy will manifest it so.
Not in my case. Dept hired 5 younger people this year, who I'm positive make more than me.
I was laid off last year and the displacement notice they send has the OWBPA (Older Workers Benefit Protection Act) that is given to anyone displaced over 40 yo.
About 90% of the people listed in mine were well over 40.
The reason we all get 60 days "working period" is so they can layoff whomever they want (and they DO target the older, higher paid people without any doubt) and then provide the WARN notices.
You know these snakes have covered their butts and found a way to target older people. It happens whether people want to believe it or not.
The oldest are laid off because they make they make the most.
Let go today. Oregon
@a1 starting to think this guy telling everyone else they are a troll is paid HR tw-t.
Remote non core location Home lending Oregon laid off today.
@OP Same here. With the company for 9 years and I am on the old side. Some people who are younger and not near hub were not let go.
Never happened.
You're laying it on too thick, troll
