The vast majority of jobs lost today are just going offshore. And some of the work will be dumped on the people who remain, flooding them even more.

Third generation military here (Army). My son in law is an H1B at Amazon. Feeds my American grandchildren, reasonable possibility one my grandchildren will be 4th generation military. His taxes also fund our military among many other social services.
@a8 The racist part is hiring low paid people from another country over native born Americans....
H1B/OPT should be required by law to be laid off first, and there should be a 5 year moratorium on hiring any H1B/OPT if even 1 American has been laid off.
And I bet they are keeping all their H1-Bs and letting Americans go.
