Does anyone else feel like they’ve been in a vacuum of silence since Thursday? No news, no updates, not from the company at large, not from my manager, not from my manager’s manager… the silence is deafening

@a7 sounds like you have a great Sr Manager
Sr Manager here (tech).... can confirm we don't know anything at our level.... Getting all my "intel" from this page... just waiting just like everyone else...
All of our team meetings have been cancelled this week. I am hourly and we all have been told to clock in to check our emails between 7-8 am tomorrow, which makes me a little nervous as I can’t imagine them paying everyone to check their emails if we were all safe.
Our sr mgr doesn’t know impacts but shared his thoughts on Thursday and has offered to meet, slack, or support us in any way that works best for us which has been nice.
My L8 had been at the company forever, and he wasn't privy to anything from the top levels. You would think, after decades of being at the same company, they would have insider knowledge of familiarity.
My leader (Director) canceled our 1:1…
@a3 not sure the desired effect - but I can tell you the effect it’s about to have is anyone that does stay is going to be openly looking
Yes. So what is the desired effect here you think? Who benefits from this “strategy “ and how much $$ did TGT pay for this to be laid out for them.
My boss (Sr Mgr) has reached out or met with me/the team every day since Thursday. They don’t know anything more than we do, but they’re not making us ride it out alone.
I mean my Director said he’s here for the team and all, but I really don’t think they know any kore then the rest of us.
