I have to imagine that if we do survive that morale is going to be bankrupt here. I would rather have a job, but I hope people realize that they are very talented and we deserve better of our employer. Don’t settle for anything less. Let’s support our co workers who do get let go and keep fighting for the kind of careers we all want… which is hopefully not this.

This is my third major layoff at Target and I have to say it feels different. I have always thought if I get laid off I would be angry. But if it happens tomorrow, I will be sad that I don’t get to go out on my own terms because I am not far from retirement. Target has lost its way. I hope it get its mojo back, but I don’t have a lot of confidence in Michael Fiddelke right now based on how this has been handled.
