Seemed kind of quiet the past few layoffs- is there a certain month that typically is the highest month for layoffs ?

They lay off as many people as HR capacity allows - so it’s all the same
It’s not going to quiet down in Q4. They are going full on this quarter. Less than last quarter but it will still be significant.
I don't think it's been quiet; it's just that it's so spread out among departments. In WFA, they reduced the amount of business execution managers by two thirds. It's huge for us, but most at Wells are not aware. Just like we're not tuned in to other areas of the company.
11/11 is normally a people purge day but this year is a holiday. The 25th is possible but likely light due to Thanksgiving 2 days later and lots of PTO forecasted. That leaves 12/9 as a big hitter.
Yep tomorrow 28th last round layoffs for 2025.
There's not a lot of patterns, beyond them slowing down in the nov-jan timeframe. There's been big rounds in just about every month, from Feb through Jul, over the last 3 years. It appears that outside the year-end period, it's mostly dependant on when each LOB is ready to dump people.
Next Feb after bonus
This tuesday will be the biggest bank-wide. Should cool down for the rest of the year.
