Allen was the beginning of the downslide of AT&T, starting with sc--wing with Walter. Walter had a more traditional, slower implementation vision for the company, totally opposite Allen, hence his demise (and 25 million dollars for 6 months work).
Oh yeah, I remember him. That was during the time when AT&T CEOs had two first names. We had two or three of them with that combination. That was the only qualification!
No
