How much is severance exactly? I have only worked here 2 years. I heard it’s 1 - 2 weeks per year of service. Thats peanuts for me and I am a bit worried. I feel like it should be at least 1 month for every year of service

Really ? 2 years of service and you want 1 month of salary for each year?
What flavor spiked kool-aid are you drinking? Just another example of "priviledged" garbage in our corporate world today.
Try working 41 years, commuting 100 miles every day, never missing work except for vacation and holidays and leaving with pension and that's it! Learn how to get your hands dirty with maybe a band-aid every so often from actual work.
So how much is severance?
$12.99 a month after a seven day trial.
As long as you're subscribing to AppleTV+, i'd suggest watching Silo and Shrinking as well.
And there is the problem. Employees with as little as 2 years service feel no security in their positions. The dynamics have changed. If you are early in your career, get out of T now. Deadbeat company with a mix of old school and stupid policies and principles. They preach "market driven", but still apply pay treatment, etc by 50 yr old rules
69 weeks and loving it.
Get a life!
I vote for your idea of 1 month for every year!! I'd be sitting pretty for 300+ months.
AT&T will never be on the up&up to provide for their employees again. It's not the company our parents & grandparents worked for.

Both plans are on HR One Stop. Management caps at 6 months' salary.
Caps out at 88 weeks.
2 weeks max
Well, the amount of severance you receive is not your choice now since you decided to work for ATT.
HR One Stop is your friend. It's all there in black and white.
