I haven’t had my mid year check in, though I just noticed in my Managers diary his other direct report has his booked in. I‘m guessing this isn’t a good sign for me and I‘m going to be affected by the layoffs.

lol I tried to set one up multiple times and got no response
I have not had mine and have not done them for my direct reports. I scheduled them for the end of next week, assuming we still work here. Always a joke anyway.
Everyone on my team did a mid-year check in—- could be optimistic but it was fs still a priority
No chance am I holding any kind of check in with my team until Thursday or Friday, and that will be purely ceremonial if it does happen. That also assumes I am safe. Will reassess on Wednesday.
Managers were supposed to enter them but they were not obligated to have the “checkin conversation” like in years past.
With so much going on most managers are overwhelmed with work so I wouldn’t read into not having one at all.
@OP I know 0 people who have had this check-in and 1 exec who laughed when he got the email. I wouldn't think anything of not having your check-in yet.
Kinda hilarious to call it a "mid-year" when November is a week away.
No mid-year check-in yet for me. I'll let you know what happens next week
Why have a mid year check in when half the team is going to be cut and no one knows who?
