It seems like Oracle JPAC is safe , am I wrong ?

As far as I know , no news about layoffs in Australia , Singapore

In Japan the employee had to agree to be laid off.

same thing happened with the Cisco technical assistance center. I met a Santa Clara sheriff's deputy who used to work there

@ed It was 2016 when they closed the support centre in Melbourne. I know, I was one of the many laid off. We actually had our 30 year anniversary reunion of the support centre opening in 1995 earlier this year in March.

how many of you old dogs remember either in the very late 90's or 2000ish completely
shut down the Australia support center. Man lots of talent there. Oracle doesn't care.

What do you mean that is SAFE? Nobody is safe as you can observe last time layoffs. But sleep well and prepare Plan B to prevent being kick out in a few minutes by HR.
