@b9 Hi, me again. My source is a family member who is currently an SVP. They merged multiple teams to now be under her, and got rid of three or four of her direct report VPs. I don't know what their titles were in, but I think some were strat and operations. It's all very sad. She said she is sad because everyone except one person she really liked and were really good at what they do.
In the end it's nothing personal, whatever happens. But its all a shame.
@b8 Unfortunately you are so right. It was me 5 months ago. Many people in PD&D a year ago, and more of my friend in June. They were small, quiet ones but impacted us affected very heavily, just like those who will be affected in the upcoming layoffs. I feel for everyone.

@OP yes, it was today. It was also 3 months ago and it is also going to be next Tuesday, the 28th. It will also be next January-February.
Three months ago was SVPs. Today was officers/VPs. 28th will be the rest. Total will be 1800 jobs including open positions, so around 1200 people.
rumors are pointing towards the 28th
