met him for the first time the other day and i couldnt believe how this guy got to this position. another example of unqualified people getting promoted to sr leadership. omg.

The brightest will never be promoted up. They would make everyone else look stupid. I’ve seen it myself. One of the smartest people I worked with got aTWA in leadership. They quickly showed how incompetent the leadership was and was not hired. Left SF and quickly moved up the ladder of one of our top competitors. There’s a reason why we are losing.
That's how they promote people. You have to talk a lot and play politics. One sc-mbag even took credit for all the work I did and got promoted. This is very common in statefarm and that's why there's a lot of incompetent leadership. They'll still make use of you once they're there and say its for collaboration and not working siloed but in reality they're so unskilled and incompetent that they need someone skilled to show them everything so they can continue talking for promotions.
