Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Grass could be Greener

As an employee of this bank for 10+ years, I had zero interest in looking for a new role at this point in my career but the pettiness here is just so astounding, I just can’t tolerate it anymore. I now have a second interview with a smaller company that treats their employees like humans which is what this company used to be about. I will even have my own desk if hired!!! Can you believe that?? Bottom line is while the grass isn’t always greener and every company has their issues, don’t let complacency stand in the way of perhaps enjoying the remaining years you have.

Yes, it could be greener.

Absolutely hilarious that you come to that conclusion based on one interview and never actually working at this company.

Some could say the same about Wells, which we know the tune changes once you start working here.

I hope you get it! I’m so tired of Sunday anxiety of what cr-p they are going to throw at me this week that impacts my life. Today email that I can’t work out of a closer location-neither location have people I work with. So over an hour one way to a jammed packed office full of coughers while my child is getting cancer treatments. I already stay away from her a day after I go to the smaller office. Have to work, have to pay for insurance. Scary times in how this company went from send everyone home to not get sick to we don’t care-here is more pettiness to do immediately. There lack of care for employees is showing hard these days.

I hope that second interview seals the deal for you OP! Good for you in looking out for yourself. It’s beyond sad what’s happened to Wells.
