We don’t need extra stress on top of looming layoffs. Some might find it amusing that people are reading too much into that org chart, but they should also realize many are genuinely terrified about their jobs. For some, losing it would have serious, life-changing consequences. I understand people panicking. What I don’t understand is how those paid to run this place can’t handle something as critical as layoffs more competently.

Using Slack for hr data is your issue. Go to success factors.
I can guaranteed you are reading too much into this slack thing. This slack org chart has always been buggy for months now. Some got fixed and some didn’t. Even successfactors org chart is not that accurate.
Trust me.. unfortunately I’m one of those people who always check these org chart things. It’s not an indicator of layoffs.
Slack is an instant messaging system. It's not a HR system. Using it for what it was intended, not all the BS slack added on.
Facile, they don’t give a fu-k
